SCRANTON, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy's winless streak reached five games as the Griffins lost a pair of CSAC games at Marywood on Sunday, falling in game one, 10-5, and game two, 13-5.

In game one, freshman Maria Seserko (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) had three hits while sophomore Tegan Wendell (Glenside, Pa./Abington) and freshman Stephanie Farrar (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) each drove in two runs but the Griffins (5-12, 3-5 CSAC) fell behind 8-0 after four innings.

GM would plate four in the top of the fifth but could pull no closer.

Senior Heather Morgan (Audubon, N.J./Audubon) suffered the loss on the mound.

Game two saw the Pacers (9-7, 5-1 CSAC) use a 10-run third inning to take a big lead and go on an win in five innings.

Seserko and sophomore Kelsey Craig (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester) each had RBI doubles in a four-run fourth. Farrar took the loss, giving up 11 runs (3 earned) on 12 hits in three innings.

Gwynedd plays at Centenary on Friday in a CSAC twinbill starting at 3 p.m.
