IMMACULATA, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy used a big second-half spurt to go on a defeat Immaculata, 77-69, in CSAC action Saturday afternoon.

Junior Dan DelConte (Blue Bell, Pa./Wissahickon) led GM with 19 points. Seniors Jon Hogga (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) added 16 points and 10 rebounds while Jon Crabtree (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) had 13 points and nine boards.

GM (18-5, 13-3 CSAC) trailed by three after the first half, and took their final lead of the contest with 5:20 remaining as a bucket from sophomore Frank Champion (Northfield, N.J./Mainland) broke a 58-58 tie.

Brandon Smith totaled 19 points with eight rebounds to lead the Mighty Macs (9-14, 7-9 CSAC). Rob Siter chipped in 16.

The Griffins return to action on Monday as they play at Centenary in a league tilt tipping off at 8 p.m.
