LANGHORNE, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy put up 63 first-half points to go on and defeat Philadelphia Biblical, 103-69, in a Colonial States Athletic Conference Game Thursday night.

The Griffins (17-5, 12- CSAC) shot 67% in the first frame en route to a 26-point halftime lead.

Freshman Brandyn Wims (Philadelphia, Pa./Cardinal Dougherty) led four Griffins in double figures with a game-high 19 points. Sophomore Frank Champion (Northfield, N.J./Mainland) added six rebounds and 17 points.

Adam Derus had 14 for the Crimson Eagles (0-21, 0-15 CSAC). Teammate Jeff Bishop totaled seven points, six boards, five assists, and two blocks. PBU shto 49% from the floor.

For the contest, GM hit for a season high 43 field goals (43-of-70), producing a 61.4% effort from the floor including a 7-for-14 stint from downtown.

Seniors Jon Crabtree (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) and Jon Hogga (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) each had 15 points respectively.

Gwynedd returns to action on Saturday as they travel to Immaculata for a CSAC matchup starting at 3 p.m.
