GLASSBORO, N.J. -- The 2011 season came to an end as Gwynedd-Mercy capped the year off with a tri-match at Rowan featuring the Profs and Stevenson.

The Griffins fell in the first match of the day to the host Profs, 3-0. Game scores 25-19, 25-17, and 25-20. Gwynedd then lost 3-0 to Stevenson with game scores 25-7, 25-14, and 25-11.

Against Rowan, GM hit 25-18-112 (.062). Senior Rachel Lambert (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) had a team-high eight kills. Junior Ariana Richards (Latrobe, Pa./Greater Latrobe) recorded 17 digs while junior Kelsey Craig (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester) also reached double figures with 12 digs.

In the match with the Mustangs, Gwynedd had 17 kills. Seven of those were from Lambert. Richards had 11 digs. Senior AIleen Reilly (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) and sophomore Stephanie Farrar (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) each had four kills and eight digs apiece.

Gwynedd-Mercy finishes the year with a final mark of 8-18 overall and 4-7 in CSAC play.
