CLARKS SUMMIT, PA. -- The 2010 season came to an end as Gwynedd-Mercy lost a pair of matches in a tri-match at Baptist Bible. The Griffins fell to the host Defenders, 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-14) and to Houghton, 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 25-19).

In the day's first match, GM lost a tough three-set match to Baptist Bible. Junior Rachel Lambert (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown) led the charge, registering a match-high 10 kills and four solo blocks.

Gwynedd then dropped a three-set decision to Houghton College, an NAIA school. Junior Aileen Reilly (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) had nine kills.

The Griffins finish the 2010 season with an overall record of 7-24 and 5-6 in CSAC play.
