    Assistant Track & Field Coach (Jumps)
Former Griffin and two-time All-American Justin Turner joins the coaching staff for the 2018-19 season. Turner had spent the previous three seasons as an assistant at Rutgers-Camden.

After an outstanding T&F career at Cherokee High School in New Jersey, Turner moved on to Gwynedd Mercy where he garnered All American Honors in the High Jump at the 2010 NCAA Indoor Championships as a freshman and again as senior in the same event in 2013, both placing eighth overall. He also has numerous accolades under his belt including a four-time ECAC Champion in the high jump (indoor) and a HJ outdoor title (2013) as well as seven total All-ECAC Awards. He was a four-time champ in the high jump in the Mason-Dixon Conference. Justin was the first Division III athlete to jump over seven feet in high jump at the iconic NYC Armory facility. That jump also was the best jump in Division III that season.

Turner, a Psychology major, was also a two-time USTFCCCA Mideast Regional Indoor Athlete of the Year (2012, 2013).

He is the owner of four school records in the high jump and the long jump (indoor/outdoor).

Currently, he is an ABA therapist for EPIC developmental services/Aveena Healthcare.
