Jenna Allonardo joined the Gwynedd Athletic Training Staff as Head Athletic Trainer in January 2014. Her primary sport responsibilities include field hockey, women’s tennis, women’s basketball, baseball, and softball.
Allonarado received her Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from West Chester University in 2010. During her undergraduate time, Jenna worked with the West Chester University football and track and field teams, also at West Chester East High School and Ursinus College.
Jenna extended her stay at West Chester and received her Master’s of Exercise and Sports Physiology Degree in 2012. While working towards her Master’s degree, Jenna was a graduate assistant athletic trainer with women’s gymnastics and a research assistant for the HEAT Institute at WCU.
Prior to coming to Gwynedd Mercy, Jenna worked at the College of Saint Elizabeth from 2012-2014.
Allonardo maintains her athletic training certification in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In addition, to her athletic training certification, Jenna is a certified CPR and First Aid Instructor for her fourth year. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society (PATS).
