Steve Ambrosi

Assistant coach, Steve Ambrosi enters his first year at Gwynedd Mercy University as the sprints and relays coach.
 
Before Gwynedd Mercy University, Ambrosi was the assistant coach at Misericordia University coaching sprints, hurdles and relays. At Misericordia, Steve coached multiple NCAA qualifiers, ECAC qualifiers, conference champions and helped Misericordia win their first back-to-back women’s triple crown conference titles. Steve is very excited to join Gwynedd Mercy University’s staff this winter.
 
He is a 2012 graduate of Moravian college, where he graduated with a degree in Psychology with a focus sports psychology.
 
On the track, Ambrosi was the 2012 800m indoor ECAC champion, as well as an All-American in the 800m at the 2012 NCAA indoor National Championships. He was an ECAC qualifier in the 400 hurdles, 800m and various relays. Ambrosi won four consecutive Landmark Conference 800m titles.
 
Prior to Misericordia, he spent time coaching at Velocity Sports Performance, studying exercise science and strength and conditioning. He also attended multiple sports psychology seminars while studying his psychology degree at Moravian.
