Barbara Grossov joined the Gwynedd Mercy University men’s and women’s track and field coaching staffs as an assistant coach for throwing events prior to the 2022 season.
A recent graduate of East Stroudsburg University’s (ESU) exercise science master’s program, Coach Grossov ranks among the Warriors’ Top-10 all-time in the Outdoor Shot Put (8th, 40-2¾ @ Lehigh University Games, 4/28/2018), Indoor Shot Put (6th, 41-5¼ @ Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, 3/1/2020), Hammer (10th, 148-7, 8th @ PSAC Championships, 5/9/2019), and Weight Throws (9th, 47-3½ @ PSAC Championships, 2/29/2020). She qualified for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships for five straight seasons (2017-2021).
Outside of Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics, Coach Grossov is a fitness specialist at The Hill at Whitemarsh (September 2021). There, she instructs a wide range of fitness classes for the community. While completing her master’s degree, she also fulfilled a sports nutrition internship with the Florida Atlantic University football team (May –August, 2021).
Grossov graduated from ESU with both bachelor’s (2020) and master’s (2021) degrees in exercise science. She is a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity (2017-2020), for which served as the Epsilon Omicron chapter Vice President from July 2019 until May 2020.
