Meghan Petroski '18 joined the Gwynedd Mercy University women's soccer coaching staff as an assistant prior to the 2024 season. The 2014 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Year, Coach Petroski was a four-time All-CSAC performer for the Griffins with All-CSAC First Team honors in 2014 and 2015, and All-CSAC Second Team honors in 2016 and 2017.
Petroski graduated from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in sports management and ranks among the program’s Top-5 all-time in points (2nd, 137), points/game (2nd, 1.80), goals (2nd, 49), assists (2nd, 39), and shots (2nd, 243), game-winning goals (T2nd, 10), penalty kicks (T2nd, 4), assists/game (3rd, 0.51), penalty kicks made (3rd, 2), and goals/game (4th, 0.64). Prior to her appointment with the Red and Gold, Petroski served as an assistant coach at Atlantic East Conference (AEC) rival, Immaculata University (2023), the Lower Merion Soccer Club (Aug. 2020 - June 2021), as well as the head junior varsity coach at Springside Chestnut Hill (Aug. 2018 – Aug. 2020). Coach Petroski will serve the Griffins well as a recruiter.
