Madi Green joined the Gwynedd Mercy University women’s lacrosse staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2022 season. A two-year starter at Notre Dame College (South Euclid, Ohio), Green has since served as the head coach at Loudon Valley High School (Purcellville, Va.) (June 2018 – Sept. 2019), a Mid-Atlantic manager/coach with 3d Lacrosse (Leesburg, Va.) (Jan. 2015 – Mar. 2020), and an event manager with Victory Event Series (Thornton, Pa.) (Feb. 2021 – present), which focuses on coordinating regional and national lacrosse events.
At Loudoun Valley High School, Coach Green was named 2019 Region 4C Coach of the Year after leading the program to its first postseason win in five years. Prior to Loudoun Valley, she served as an assistant coach at Riverside High School (Leesburg, Va.) (Feb. 2016 – June 2018). In 2018, she helped lead the Rams to the Virginia 4A State Championship and second consecutive state title berth.
A 2015 graduate of Notre Dame College, Green started 20 games for the Falcons between the 2012 (16 games played – 9 games started) and 2013 (14gp-11gs) seasons. In her sophomore season (2013) – Notre Dame College’s first at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II level – Green offered a pair of shots, 15 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers, and a draw control to the Falcons’ 10-5 record and 5-3 inaugural season as a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).
Coach Green comes from a lacrosse family with her father Kevin and three of her siblings competing collegiately and coaching in the sport. She currently resides in Wilmington, Delaware.
