Abigail Bergman joined the Gwynedd Mercy University women's lacrosse coaching staff as an assistant prior to the 2026 season. She played collegiately at National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II member, Bloomsburg University (2018-2021), where she served as a two-year (2020-2021) captain for the Huskies. She is currently employed full-time by the University of Pennsylvania Athletics Department as a data analytics coordinator.
A highly decorated student-athlete, Bergman was an All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and All-Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) First Team selection in 2021. That season, she led the Huskies in goals (42), points (47), shots (82), and draw controls (42) while earning her third of three PSAC Scholar-Athlete (2018–2019, 2019–2020, 2020–2021) awards. A career starter (54 games played – 54 games started), Bergman finished her collegiate career with 123 points (102 goals, 21 assists), 214 shots, 145 draw controls, 35 ground balls, and 18 caused turnovers.
Bergman graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and information technology. In 2025, she added a master’s degree in nonprofit management, with a concentration in data analytics and law, from the University of Pennsylvania.
