Biography

SOPHOMORE (2022) – Bloom enjoyed three Top-25 finishes in her first season as a member of the Gwynedd Mercy University women’s cross country team. Her first was a 14th-place finish (28:09.8) at the Gwynedd Mercy University Invitational (5K, Sept. 1), second was a 14th-place finish (27:23.2) at the PSU Brandywine Invitational (5K, Oct. 22), and the third was a 22nd-place (30:24.6) at the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Championship Meet (6K, Oct. 29). She also placed 72nd (26:14.5) at Stockton University’s Osprey Memorial Invitational (5K, Sept. 8), 52nd (29:29.4) at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) Invitational (6K, Sept. 23), 272nd (34:38.6) at Rowan University’s Border Battle (6K, Oct. 15), and 130th (32:08) at the NCAA DIII Metro Championship Meet (6K, Nov. 12).

JUNIOR (2023) – Bloom competed in all eight of the Griffins’ scheduled events and earned All-Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Second Team honors with her 14th-place time of 29:52.3 at the 2023 AEC Women’s Cross Country Championship Meet (Oct. 28). She ran the four-kilometer (4K) season-opener at the Misericordia University Invitational (Sept. 1) with a time of 20:60.00 (88th) and recorded her best 8K time the following week at Lebanon Valley College’s Dutchman Invitational (135th, 25:33.90 on Sept. 9).

SENIOR (2024) – Bloom competed in all eight of Gwynedd Mercy University’s scheduled dates and was the Griffins’ top finisher in five of them. She paced the Red and Gold at the Bryn Mawr College Invitational (40th, 26:27.00 on Aug. 30), the DeSales University Invitational (87th, 29:49.7 on Oct. 12), the Lebanon Valley College Last Chance Run Fast Meet (20th, 28:25.0 on Oct. 25), the AEC Women’s Cross Country Championship (19th, 29:15.8 on Nov. 2), and the NCAA DIII Metro Regional Championship (140th, 28:43.2 on Nov. 16). She also placed 44th (27:25.4) at the Philadelphia Cross Country Classic (Sept. 7), 40th (31:04.03) at the Osprey Open (Sept. 14), and  51st (34:20.38) at the Penn State Abington Invitational (Sept. 21). Her time of 28:25.0 at the Lebanon Valley College Last Chance Run Fast Meet stands as her personal record in the six kilometer (6K).
