Coach Dyas took over the Griffin men's and women's track and field teams at the conclusion of the 2024 season. He came to Gwynedd Mercy University after eight seasons as a member of the Arcadia University Athletics Department where he served as the Knights’ assistant men’s and women’s cross country coach from August 2015 to January 2017, their head men’s and women’s cross country coach from February 2017 to June 2019, and assumed head coaching duties for both the men’s and women’s track and field teams from June 2019 to June 2023.

Dyas was the first ever track and field coach in the history of Arcadia University Athletics as he recruited the high school and collegiate transfer pools to fill the Knights’ inaugural men’s indoor (15, 2019-2020), men’s outdoor (14, 2021), women’s indoor (21, 2019-2020), and women’s outdoor (19, 2021) rosters. Under his direction, Arcadia University finished 14th (14th of 15, 12 points) at the 2022-2023 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championships, 11th (11th of 15, 19 points) at the 2022-2023 MAC Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships, tied for 13th (13th of 16, 19 points) at the 2023 MAC Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships, and 12th (12th of 16, 10 points) at the 2023 MAC Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

During his time at Arcadia University (2015-2023), Coach Dyas produced seven All-MAC performers - including two All-MAC First Team recipients – and six United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Metro Region honorees. Prior to coaching the Knights, Dyas served as an assistant track and field coach at Delaware Valley University (January 2015 – May 2015).

As a student-athlete, Dyas was a three-time National Collegiate Athletic Conference (NCAA) cross country regional qualifier while also competing as a member of the Kutztown University men’s track and field team. He was a two-year captain (2012, 2013) and the 2013 Coach’s Award winner for the Golden Bears men’s cross country team.

A native of Westampton, New Jersey, Dyas currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
