Joe DeFinis starts his third season on the Griffin Coaching Staff for the 2018-19 season.
DeFinis is a graduate of LaSalle University with a degree in Business Administration and has a Masters in Communications from Temple University. He began his coaching career with St. Bridget’s CYO in the East Falls section of Philadelphia before moving on to Hallahan High School in 1995 where he coached at the varsity and junior varsity levels. A year after that, DeFinis was an assistant here at Gwynedd Mercy for four seasons.
He is the owner of the DeFinis Agency, an insurance firm with locations in the greater Philadelphia Area serving personal lines of insurance as well as business/commercial insurance, life Insurance, and retirement planning.
DeFinis lives in North Wales, Pa. with his wife, Kim, and five daughters, Lauren, Alexandra, Catherine, Isabella, and Genevieve.
