FRESHMAN (2026) – Fitzsimmons (13gp-5gs/11app-5gs) recorded one at-bat, but led Gwynedd Mercy University in wins with three (3-2) during the course of her debut season. She earned a spot on the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Weekly Honor Roll (Apr. 13) after going 2-1 in appearances versus Penn State Harrisburg (ND on Apr. 6), Neumann University (W on Apr. 8), Penn State Brandywine (L on Apr. 9), and Saint Elizabeth University (W on Apr. 11); she allowed six earned runs on 20 hits and six walks, while striking out five. Fitzsimmons finished the year with a 6.85 earned run average (ERA) as she allowed 30 earned runs over 30.2 innings of work. She struck out 16 and walked 22 while holding opponents to a .370 batting average.
