Ethan Cox joined the Gwynedd Mercy University men's volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach for their inaugural season. In addition to serving two seasons as an assistant coach with Central Bucks West High School (2024-2025), Coach Cox also joined the girls’ staff for the 2025 campaign. He also holds previous club experience with TNT Volleyball Bunker (2024-2026) of Wales, Pennsylvania.
Prior to coaching, he was a starting middle blocker at Widener University from 2020 to 2024. There, Cox totaled 529.5 points (345 kills, 86 aces, 151 block assists, 23 solo blocks), 15 assists, and 109 digs while starting in 71 of 74 matches for the Pride. He was also a member of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) All-Academic Team in 2021 and 2022.
