Chris Jefferies joined the Gwynedd Mercy University men’s and women’s track and field coaching staffs as an assistant coach for sprints prior to the 2022-2023 indoor season. Before becoming a Griffin, Coach Jeffries was a student-assistant to the Director of Athletics at his alma mater, Penn State Harrisburg. He graduated as a Nittany Lion in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
Jeffries was a standout member of the North Penn High School track and field team and a dedicated member of the Knights’ football program from 2013 to 2015. He was a 2015 and 2016 Pennsylvania State Championship medalist as a member of the North Penn 4x400 relay team.
