Allison Taub begins her first season as an assistant coach in 2019-20. Born in Philadelphia, she attended Council Rock South High School in Southampton, Pa. where she played soccer, basketball and was a member of the track and field team as a jumper and thrower. While at Council Rock South, Taub jumped her freshman and sophomore year before breaking her ankle in basketball season her Junior year. She then began to throw the end of her junior year and senior year.Â

After high school, Taub attended Monmouth University and was a four-year member and two-year captain of the Hawk Track and Field Team. During her time in West Long Branch, she collected eight team MAAC Championships, five individual MAAC championships, and was a two time Outdoor Track and Field field athlete of the meet. She currently holds the school record in the Shot Put and is top five all time in Discus.Â

She was also the MSAAC President her senior year and was a member of SAAC her first three years of college.Â

Her collegiate PRs include a 15.30m (50’2) in Shot Put and 48.70 (159’9) in Discus. She also threw the Hammer: 48.00m (157’6), Weight 15.55m (51’0) and Javelin 37.49m (123’0).Â

Taub currently works at Kensington Hospital as a Admissions Coordinator and Social Worker.Â
