Coach Bontempo has coached against Coach Amorim and with him at camps for the past 25 years. The program is excited to have John return for his second season on the Gwynedd sidelines.Â
Coach Amorim is one of the top goalkeeping instructors in the region. He was a two-time college All-American at Lynchburg College and presently teaches at Archbishop Ryan High School.
He is the former head coach at Bishop Egan High School and then moved on to become the head coach at Holy Family University (NAIA and Division II), then was an assistant at Temple University (Division I).
Most recently John has served as the goalkeeper coach at Archbishop Ryan and William Tennent High Schools. John presently serves as a goalkeeping coach for the Griffins.
