Adriana Santiago joined the Gwynedd Mercy University field hockey coaching staff as an assistant prior to the 2021 season. Prior to becoming a Griffin, Coach Santiago spent two seasons as an assistant coach at her alma mater, Eastern Mennonite University.

A two-year captain for the Royals, Santiago was a four-year student-athlete and enjoyed Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Semifinal appearances in both her freshman (2010) and sophomore (2011) seasons. She is tied for 14th all-time in assists (20) and ranks 19th all-time in points (82; 31 goals, 20 assists) at Eastern Mennonite University.

Coach Santiago graduated from Eastern Mennonite University in 2013 with a bachelor degree in kinesiology.
