Biography

JUNIOR (2022) – Price (38gp-37gs) served as Gwynedd Mercy University’s primary first baseman and finished the season as one of five Griffins with a .300-plus batting average (AVG). He provided 26 runs and 29 runs-batted-in (RBI) on a .310 (40-for-129)/.428/.403 (AVG/OBP/SLG) slash line that included nine extra-base hits (7 2B, 3B, HR), a team-high 25 walks, and three beanballs. He stole seven bases (7-of-12, .583) and earned a mention on the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Baseball Weekly Honor Roll (May 2) after going 4-for-10 with a grand slam in a 7-6 game-two loss to Cabrini University (Apr. 30).

SENIOR (2023) - Price (35gp-34gs) was an everyday staple in the lineup for the Griffins and one of five to finish the season with a batting average over .300 (.341). Price finished with 34 runs and 42 runs-batted-in (RBI) on a .341 (50-146)/.460/.524 (AVG/OBP/SLG) slash line which included a team-high 13 doubles, two triples, two home runs, and six hit-by-pitch.

5th-Year (2024) - Price (39-gp-38gs) was a regular in the Griffins lineup and a valuable fielder as the he saw time in the outfield as well as first base, second base, and catcher. Price finished with a final slash line of .206 (26-of-126)/.297/.286 (AVG/OBP/SLG). He also accounted for 19 runs and 17 runs-batted-in (RBI). He finished his collegiate career among the Gwynedd Mercy University all-time Top-10 in strikeouts (2nd, 114), walks (T3rd, 79), sacrifice flies (T4th, 10), sacrifice hits (T7th, 10), RBI (8th, 105), and at-bats (10th, 475).
