Mark Roth begins his first season on the Griffin Coaching Staff in 2018.

Roth had a distinguished playing career at Delaware Valley University, as he was a three- time first team All-MAC Freedom selection (2002-2004), as well as a two-time first-team all-region (2003-2004), and a three-time All-ECAC selection. His best season came in 2003 as he was named the MAC Freedom Co-MVP and was a second-team All American.

Roth, a graduate of Archbishop Wood High School, was selected to the Delaware Valley University Hall of Fame in 2014.

After his playing days, he helped coach at his alma mater from 2005-2011. In 2012, he moved on to Division II Chestnut Hill. From there, he was an assistant at MaST Charter School in Philadelphia for two seasons before taking the head job in 2016. In his first season, he helped guide the Panthers to the PIAA State Tournament and the school’s first-ever postseason victory.
