Usually an attacker, Allyssa Seifert (Philadelphia, Pa.) made her debut as a midfielder in the second quarter. After a strong Griffins stop, Seifert was able to use her speed to her advantage and notched a goal (02:53 Q2). Just over a minute later the Griffins utilized a man-up opportunity, with Hailey Bloom (Margate City, N.J.) scoring off a pass from Rebecca Gordon (Sicklerville, N.J.) (01:33 Q2). The Saints came out on fire in the second half, though, and the Griffins were unable to score through the rest of the game.
