Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (10/22/2025) - Gwynedd Mercy University (5-10, 1-4) welcomed Marywood University (6-7-1, 3-1) to the Athletic Complex for tonight Atlantic East Conference contest and home finale for the 2025 season. The Pacers were effective and efficient with their 24 shots as three goals in the first ten minutes (3:13, 5:59, 7:16) and eight goals total was too much for the Griffins to handle in an 8-1 conclusion. Junior midfielder Luke O'Donnell (Glenside, Pa.) highlighted the Red and Gold effort with a unassisted score late in the 57th minute (6-1, 56:58).

Griffin Highlights

• Gwynedd Mercy University was shell-shocked by the opening ten minutes and looked to get back in the contest behind the aggressive attempts of senior forward Braedon Kehan (Warrington, Pa.). He took five shots of the Griffins' 12 shots.
• The Red and Gold had another great chance to score beginning in the 67th minute with a Kehan strike and a series of corner kicks. Unfortunately, the opportunities produced no yield.
• In goal, graduate Andrew Roberto (Churchville, Pa.) (4-4) made three first-half saves. Senior goalkeeper Joe Romano (Blue Bell, Pa.) (26:22, 1 save) and freshman goalkeeper Ethan Zimmerman (Myerstown, Pa.) (18:38, 2) both saw time in the second half and contributed to the Griffins' six saves.
