Griffins Challenge Cougars in Opening-Day Action

Dallas, Pa. - (8/30/2024) - Gwynedd Mercy University (0-1) traveled to Misericordia University (0-1) this evening for the first contest of their 2024 season. The Griffins found most of their success after halftime, as they totaled three of their five shots in the third quarter of a 4-0 Cougar victory. Junior forward Makenzie Reed (Philadelphia, Pa.) offered two (34:06, 39:30) of her team-high three shots in that frame; she put them both on goal, but was denied in each case.
