Swarthmore, Pa. - (11/26/2024) - Gwynedd Mercy University (3-3) for the second straight contest hit the road this time taking on Swarthmore College (3-4). Unfortunately for the Griffins, the Red and Gold's two-game win streak ended with a 62-45 loss to Garnet. Freshman guard Brianna McFadden (Fairless Hills, Pa.) had a career night as the first year finished with career highs in points (10), three-pointers made (2), and steals (3).
- Both Gwynedd Mercy and Swarthmore struggled in the offensive zone as both teams combined for 54 turnovers.
- Reigning Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Player of the Week senior forward Alexis Eagan (Drexel Hill, Pa.) finished the contest three-of-six from the field (50%) with eight points, an assist, one block, and a season-high four steals.
- The Griffins were outrebounded 40-34 allowing the Garnet 13 offensive boards resulting in 26 points in the paint.
