Ronn Matches Single-Game Saves Record in AEC Loss to Pacers

Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (10/23/2024) - Junior goalkeeper Madisson Ronn (Warrington, Pa.) left it all on the field in this evening's Atlantic East Conference (AEC) 5-0 loss to Marywood University (11-3-2, 3-0-1) as the Gwynedd Mercy University (5-9-2, 1-4) net-minder matched the program's all-time single-game save record with 22 stops against the Pacers.

Griffin Highlights
  • Gwynedd Mercy University fired two second-half shots. Freshman midfielder Paige Fienman (Philadelphia, Pa.) put hers on-goal at 48:16 and freshman defender Casey Thomas (Philadelphia, Pa.) sent hers high at 70:01.
  • Ronn recorded seven of her saves in the first half, keeping the Griffins withing striking range at halftime; 2-0. In the second half, she made 15 saves on 33 Marywood University shots to establish personal season and career highs.
