Gwynedd Valley, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy (0-6) put up a great fight against Montclair State (3-2) on Saturday, but ultimately fell 5-0.

The Griffins played superb defense in the first half holding Montclair to only three shots with Morgan Lawless saving all of them.  

The Red Hawks wore them down in the second half, breaking a 0-0 halftime tie to sink 5 goals with the final goal coming with only 4 seconds left on the clock.

Kaci Murray and Cheyenne Avellino put some shots on goal, but couldn't get past Lauren Pickul.  Alexis Schambers put up a fantastic effort on defense with 2 defensive saves.

The Griffins will head to the University of Scranton for their next match on Wednesday.
