GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy fell to Immaculata, 5-2, Thursday afternoon in the semifinal round of the 2021 Atlantic East Men's Tennis Team Tournament.

In the playoff team tournament, the three doubles matches kick off the best-of-nine format with the first team to reach five victories is declared the winner.

The Griffins hit a bit of a snag when they went down 3-0 after doubles play. After falling behind 4-0, Hunter Wenger (#4 singles) and Justin Collins (#3 singles) scored simultaneous wins in their respective singles matches to keep the match going. Unfortunately, the Mighty Macs closed it out with a win at #2 singles.

Collins, Wenger and fellow senior Tommy Moore turn the page on their Griffin careers. The trio has put together 30-plus combined wins in their time as a Griffin.
