IMMACULATA, PA. -- The Gwynedd Mercy Field Hockey Team closed out their truncated season with a 6-0 shutout win at Immaculata on Wednesday.

Alyssa Tomsic netted a hat trick and added an assist for a career-best seven points. Allison Campbell also notched a personal best, tallying six points on two goals and two assists. Kathryn Lehman added the final score on the day.

Goalie Abi Kennedy notched six saves to pick up her ninth career shutout.

After Campbell scored 3:49 into the contest, Michaela Swenk and Lehman set her up on a penalty corner minutes later for her second tally of the quarter. In the second half, the Griffins turned up the heat, producing 17 of their 24 shots in the contest. Tomsic and Lehman added goals in the third quarter to up the lead to five goals.

Immaculata keeper Randie Kuhar recorded 14 stops in net, including 10 in the second half.

Gwynedd Mercy closes out the season and will say goodbye to their five seniors: Campbell, Lehman, Swenk, Tomsic, and Kennedy. The group enjoyed a conference championship in their freshman season along with two appearances in the NCAA Division III Tournament (2017, 2018) among many all conference accolades.
