RADNOR, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy was knocked out of the 2020 ECAC Women's Basketball Tournament, falling to RPI, 98-84, in a quarterfinal round contest Friday evening. The game was played at Cabrini University.

Haley Crossley led four players in double figures with a team high 17 points. Denise Sacco followed with 14 points, Carley Huggard chipped in a career-high 13, and Tolu Omole added 11 as the Griffins battled to help erase a big deficit.

Celia Thompson paced the Engineers with 29 points and 18 rebounds, both game highs. RPI led by as much as 94-62 with 4:51 in the fourth before Gwynedd closed the game on a 22-4 run.
