AUBURNDALE, FL. -- Rose-Hulman took down Gwynedd Mercy, 10-4, on Wednesday at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.
The Griffins got a run across in the top of the fourth to cut into an early 3-0 deficit, but the Engineers scored six times in the bottom half to widen their lead.

Nick Price,
Will Brownlowe, and
Justin Blakey all had two hits apiece. Brasier added a two-run single in the eighth while Blakey doubled and tripled.
For Rose-Hulman, Shane Garner was 2-for-4, doubled, homered, and scored three times.

Rob Bailey from third got GMercyU on the board. The Engineers then struck in their at-bat for six runs on five hits and two walks.

R.J. Boyle was charged with the loss after throwing six innings. Ben Yoss earned the win after striking out seven in 6.1 innings of work.
Gwynedd Mercy concludes their Florida Trip tomorrow with a game against Concordia (MN) starting at 9:15 a.m.
