GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- A goal in the 60th minute was the lone score as Gwynedd Mercy fell to Alvernia, 1-0, Monday night in non-conference action.

The Golden Wolves' Lauren Gough was able to get a short touch after a scramble on an ensuing free kick just outside the box.

Griffin goalie Daniella Repkoe saw 12 shots on the night, recording six saves. GMercyU tallied two shots, one which was stopped by Lily Sankey of Alvernia off the foot of Amanda Credidio. Megan Crammer had a look on net in the 62nd minute.

Gwynedd Mercy will have to turn their attention to Thursday, where they'll host Delaware Valley in a 6 p.m. start.
