BRYN ATHYN, PA. -- The Griffins secured their second win in a row in a 3-0 victory at Bryn Athyn in a non-conference matchup.

Amanda Credidio paced the offense notching a pair of goals and assisting on the third while goalie Emily McCullough recorded seven saves on the day to give the team their first shut out of 2019.

Gwynedd Mercy came out firing and scored the first goal of the game just a little over seven minutes into the contest.  Megan Crammer set up Credido, for a 1-0 lead.

Just over 12 minutes later, Credido added her second goal of the game unassisted which allowed the Griffins to end the first half with a two-goal advantage. For Credidio, the two tallies give her a team-leading four goals on the year.

As the second half proceeded, both teams continued to shoot, racking a total of 18 shots in the stanza. McCullough recorded five of her seven saves in the final 45 minutes to earn her first clean of her career.

Genny Lombardo capped the scoring in the 73rd minute for the senior's first collegiate score. Credido added her fifth point of the game with the assist.

Allie Warren recorded seven saves in over 81 minutes of action for the Lions.

The Griffins will be back in action on Tuesday as they host Rosemont for a 7 p.m. start.
