GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- The Gwynedd Mercy Women's Tennis Team defeated Neumann, 8-1, on Senior Day in an Atlantic East Conference match.

The team honored Natalie Danze, the team's lone senior prior to the match. She would pick up wins at #1 singles and team with Jenna Trythall at #1 doubles.

Head coach Jim Holt praised his only senior: "I was pleased with the whole team but especially of Natalie because she came away with two wins, to increase her win total to 106 with very few losses. Honestly, she has been nothing short of amazing her whole career and I am really glad I recruited her so heavily because she had many other options. She has been a critical part of all our championship runs and we certainly could not have done it without her."

The team plays at Marywood on Wednesday before closing out the regular season next weekend at Cabrini.
