Griffins Nabs Win In Atlantic East Opener

IMMACULATA, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy scored a 6-3 win in their Atlantic East opener Wednesday afternoon.

The Griffins started off the match winning two of the three doubles. Max Schneider and Josh Reimel won a 9-7 decision at #1 and Justin Collins and Chris Wood grinded out a 7-5 tiebreak victory at #3.

Schneider, Reimel, Collins, and Vince Viola scored wins in singles play to help cement the outcome.

Gwynedd Mercy resumes action on Friday at Moravian.
