Trailing 48-34 at halftime, Gwynedd came out on an 8-2 run to open the third capped by a three from Wessels to make it an eight-point contest. However, the Greyhounds used a three from Capuano at the end of an 8-0 spurt for a 58-42 score at the midpoint of the stanza.

With Moravian up 78-58 early in the fourth, the Griffins put together a big 18-6 run over a three-minute plus stretch to get within 84-76 after a triple from Sacco with 5:16 to play. GMercyU would unfortunately go without a field goal for over three minutes as the Greyhounds built a double-figure lead for good.
