GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- The Gwynedd Mercy University Women's Soccer team fell to Immaculata University 1-0 on Wednesday evening in Atlantic East Conference action on Senior Night.

Prior to the game, the Griffins honored lone senior Genny Lombardo and her family in a special ceremony.

The Mighty Macs would break a scoreless game in the 51st minute when Kelli Dombrowski scored a top shelf goal on an assist from Riley Rudd.

In the 78th minute, the Griffins were able to put pressure on the Immaculata defense but keeper Brooke Shissler would knock the attempt over the crossbar.

Daniella Repkoe made eight stops on the night for the Griffins while Shissler recorded a pair in each half for the Macs.

Immaculata out shot GMercyU, 11-2, while each team recorded a corner kick each.

The loss knocks Gwynedd out of the postseason hunt. The Griffins will close out the regular season on Saturday at Cabrini at 3 p.m.
