PHILADELPHIA -- Fourth-seeded Gwynedd Mercy was handed a 5-0 defeat to top-seeded Cabrini in a semifinal match of the 2018 CSAC Men's Tennis Tournament Saturday evening.

The Griffins battled through three doubles matches, but fell behind 3-0 heading to singles play. The first team to five wins is declared the winner. The Cavaliers picked up wins at #5 singles and later #1 singles to close it out.

Gwynedd Mercy finishes the 2018 season at 5-6 and 4-3 in conference play under first-year head coach Pete Brzezinski.

After the match, freshman Max Schneider was officially presented with his CSAC Rookie of the Year Award.
