GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- The Gwynedd Mercy University Women's Lacrosse team scored a 20-2 victory over Centenary University Wednesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference action.
Alyssa Tomsic led the Griffins with a game high five goals. A quadruplet of Griffins
Victoria Braeunle,
Samantha Brown,
Carrie Kilgore and
Lauren Mitros added three goals apiece. Braeunle added a team-high four assists to finish with seven points.
For the game, the Griffins outshout the Cyclones, 33-6 and held an 16-4 groundball advantage.
Jamie McCarney and
Megan Crammer led GMercyU with three groundballs.
Madison McCue also recorded her first collegiate goal in the closing moments of the first half.
Jill Kane and
Camryn Sheahan each added a goal as well.
The Griffins return back to action next Wednesday April 4th, hosting Cedar Crest at 7 p.m.
