MONTCLAIR, N.J. -- Montclair State's Kaitlyn Struss scored in double overtime as the Griffins were edged, 2-1, Saturday evening.
Gwynedd Mercy took on their second-straight nationally ranked opponent this week, falling by just one goal in each contest. GM trailed 1-0 into the second half before
Melissa Russo scored on a penalty corner, notching her team-leading 13th of the year, on an assist from
Michaela Swenk.

Sarah Crane helped backstop the defense as she made a career-high 17 saves on the night. She would make 11 of those stops in the second half alone as MSU fired off 13 shots in the stanza.
Struss scored the Red Hawks' first goal just 6:46 into the game on a penalty corner.
The Griffins would produce 12 corners including three in the double overtime, but the Red Hawks outshot GM, 27-18.
Gwynedd Mercy hosts Washington College on Wednesday night starting at 6 p.m.
