GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy clashed with Centenary but it was the Cyclones scoring all their goals in the second half in a 6-0 Colonial States Athletic Conference decision Saturday afternoon.
Goalie
Tyler Blair made seven of his career-high 15 saves in the first half, keeping it a scoreless contest after the first 45 minutes of play.
Centenary got on the board less than five minutes into the second half when Matt Miller slipped one under Blair for the 1-0 score. That goal would be the first of their six tallies over the next 11 minutes as the Cyclones opened up a sizable advantage.
Devon Warne made two stops for Centenary (5-6-1, 4-2 CSAC).
The Griffins (1-12-1, 1-5 CSAC) resume play on Wednesday when they head to Rosemont for a CSAC matchup.
