ELIZABETHTOWN, PA. -- Elizabethtown defeated Gwynedd Mercy, 18-3, Monday afternoon in a non-conference matchup.

Brianna Greer scored twice for the Griffins and Haley Williams added the other goal for the Griffins, who fell behind early and could not catch up.

Addie Stang and Dana Robidoux each had five goals for the Blue Jays. Carly Thompson added three scores while Katie Thompson chipped in two goals and five assists.

E-Town outshot Gwynedd, 36-13, and held a 28-18 advantage in groundballs.

Goalie Bria Gillard made eight saves on the day. She would lead the team with four groundballs. Danae Perrymond totaled three groundballs, three caused turnovers, and two draw controls. Elizabethtown keeper Abby Kopytko made one in just one half of action.

The Griffins (1-9) are back at it tomorrow when they host Cedar Crest in CSAC action and on Senior Night here at the Griffin Athletic Complex at 7 p.m
