BALTIMORE -- The Gwynedd Mercy University Women's Basketball team hit the road Wednesday night for the second night in three days to take on Notre Dame of Maryland University and came away with a 63-34 CSAC victory to sweep the season series.
The Griffins (16-4, 10-1 CSAC) were paced by three players reaching double figures in scoring.
Olivia Bradford led all scorers with a game-high 15 points.
Charlotte Kucowski recorded her second straight double-double, notching 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Nicole Dombrowski added 10 while grabbing eight caroms.
The Gators (61-4, 2-10 CSAC) used a 9-2 run to close out the first quarter to take a 12-10 lead after a period of action. With the game tied 16-16, the Griffins would take control of the game with a
Larissa Leyes three-pointer to maintain the lead for the remainder of the contest and take a 25-21 lead into the halftime break.
GMercyU outscored the Gators, 20-5, in the third quarter. A Kucowski jumper capped off an 11-0 run for the Griffins to take a commanding 36-21 with just under seven minutes remaining in the quarter. They would hold a 45-26 lead after three periods of action.

Chandler DiFebbo layup gave GMercyU their largest lead of the game (59-27) with just over four minutes remaining. The Griffins would outscore Notre Dame, 38-13, in the second half.
Gwynedd outrebounded Notre Dame 47-38, eighteen of which were offensive side that led to 16 second-chance points. The Griffins also caused 28 turnovers, converting them into 24 points on the other end of the floor.
The Griffins will stay on the road and travel to Keystone College on Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
