Coach Kevin Clark praised his teams' effort: "Overall today was a great day. This was the first meet where the temperature was over 55 degrees. It really showed in the spinting events. It was a windy day for the longer races as the wind hit the runners dead on the back stretch of every lap making it a battle for those 150 meters. Today is a great sign that there are big performances ready to come. We host our first meet of the season on Wednesday and it is looking like it will be an exciting day."

The Griffins will host their sixth annual Griffin Mid-Week Twilight Invitational on Wednesday starting at 3 p.m.
