GALLOWAY, N.J. -- Gwynedd Mercy dropped a tough 2-1 decision at Richard Stockton Wednesday night, keeping the Griffins winless on the season.

After an early Opsrey tally, junior Rich Mychack (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) netted his second goal of the season in the 18th minute to knot it up at 1-1. Mychack would one-time a cross into the lower right corner of the net from the foot of sophomore Miles Kehs (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford). It would be Kehs' second career assist, which ironically came against Richard Stockton almost a year ago to the day (September 11, 2013)

Stockton (4-1-1) would answer later in the stanza on a score from Clevon McPherson in the 36th minute, which would stand as the game winner.

In the second half, neither team found the back of the net due to six saves in the period from sophomore goalie Ryan Oyola (Tabernacle, N.J./Seneca) who came on at the start of the second half.

The Griffins (0-4) will look to get into the win column on Saturday when they head down to Stevenson for a non-league tilt starting at 1 p.m.
