IMMACULATA, PA. -- The Griffin Men's Soccer Team clinched a playoff berth for the first time in three seasons as Gwynedd won at Immaculata, 1-0, Tuesday night in their regular season finale.

GM (7-11, 5-4 CSAC) has clinched the #4 playoff seed and will host a first-round playoff game on Tuesday, November 4th. It marks the first appearance in the CSAC Tournament since 2011 where the Griffins fell in double overtime in the semifinal round to the eventual champion, Neumann.

Junior Kyle Ditsche (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) provided the only scoring in the game, as he netted his second goal of the year, an unassisted tally, in the 19th minute.

Goalie Matt Chilcote (Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley) recorded five saves for his second shuout of the season and fourth for his career and was able to keep the Mighty Macs (3-13-1, 1-7 CSAC) out of the net. IU keeper Michael Thompson would make six stops.
