GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy succumed to an overtime goal from Alvernia's Bri McGrath as the Crusaders left the GMC Athletic Complex with a 1-0 win on Saturday afternoon.

McGrath would score on an assist by Laura Mauroschadt just over three minutes into the extra frame as a the two finished a 2-on-1 when Mauroschadt's drive to the net pulled Tadley out of the goal before she sent a cross to McGrath for the tap in.
The Griffins produced three first-half shots and none in the second. Colleen Maher needed to make two saves to become Alvernia's all-time leader in career shuouts. The Crusaders (5-1) would register a total of 18 shots.
