SCRANTON, PA. -- Marywood edged Gwynedd Mercy, 2-1, in double overtime to conclude the Griffin's 2013 campaign.
It was the sixth game this season that went into overtime as Gwynedd is 1-4-1 in those contests.
The Pacers' Daniel Lopez scored the tying goal with just under two minutes in regulation as GM led for most of the game.
The Griffins would go up 1-0 when senior
Dan Panepresso (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) scored his team-leading eighth goal and his 25th career tally in the 23rd minute with an assist from
Steve Macor (Asbury, N.J./North Hunterdon).
Lopez would set up Daniel Hull for the game-winner at the 100:35 mark.
